Getting Started With Roster Settings & Employee Scheduling in ClickTime

Control Who Appears on Your Scheduler: Roster Filter Settings

Setting up a streamlined and efficient roster is a cornerstone of effective workforce management. With ClickTime, you can customize your scheduling to fit the unique needs of your Australian business. This guide will walk you through the essential settings, from configuring who appears on your scheduler to managing shift overlaps and setting up automatic break time deductions. By following these steps, you'll ensure your schedules are accurate, compliant, and easy to manage for both you and your employees.

ClickTime offers two ways to view employee rosters:
  1. Scheduled Employees Only: Displays only employees who are rostered at specific sites for the selected period. Non-rostered employees and unrelated sites will be hidden—ideal for reviewing your actual work schedule.

  2. All Employees View: Shows all employees regardless of scheduling. Use this view to identify unassigned staff and ensure fair distribution of shifts and responsibilities.

To toggle these views in the Scheduler screen:

  • Click the Options dropdown.

  • Turn on “Show scheduled employees only” to hide unassigned staff.

  • Turn off the switch to view all employees, rostered and non-rostered.
