Customize Employee Access to Shift and Roster Information
Overview
The Employee Viewing Permissions feature allows companies to control which features their employees can view and access during their scheduled shifts. This feature is located under Settings > App Settings > Roster Settings > Employee Viewing Permissions. Companies can enable or disable specific viewing permissions for their employees using toggle switches (YES/NO).
Features
The following features can be controlled using the Employee Viewing Permissions settings:
Allow Employee to View Co-Workers Scheduled to the Same Shift
Description: This setting allows employees to view the list of co-workers who are scheduled to work on the same shift as them.
Allow Employee to View Co-Workers Scheduled to the Next Subsequent Shift
Description: This setting allows employees to view the list of co-workers who are scheduled to work the next subsequent shift after their current shift.
Allow Rostered Employees to View the Site Roster for Current & Future Weeks
Description: This setting allows rostered employees to view the site roster for the current week and upcoming weeks.
How to Configure Employee Viewing Permissions
- Navigate to Settings > App Settings > Roster Settings > Employee Viewing Permissions.
- Use the toggle switches to enable (YES) or disable (NO) the desired features for your employees.
- Save your changes to apply the new settings.
