How to manage & customize shift view on the scheduler

In ClickTime Australia, you can customise the Shift View in the web scheduler to display exactly the information you need for efficient roster management. From employee roles and assigned tasks to job numbers, contractor codes, and break times, these settings are unique to each user and won’t affect others. Using the expanded scheduler view, you can choose which fields appear in each shift cell, rearrange their order via drag‑and‑drop, and create a layout that best supports your workflow. This guide explains how to access the Shift View menu, adjust visible fields, and optimise your scheduler for clarity and speed.


How to Customize Shift Views on the Scheduler Page:

  1. Navigate to the scheduler page.
  2. Locate the options drop-down list on the right-hand side.
  3. Select “Shift View” from the drop-down menu.
  4. A new window will appear, allowing you to customize the fields displayed in the shift cell.
  5. Drag and drop the field  you want to view.
  6. To rearrange the order of displayed fields, simply use drag and drop.

NOTE
ClickTime offers two different views for users to choose from, the normal standard  "Expanded View" and the "Minimized View".  The Shift View option is only applicable to the standard expanded view.
