Automatic Break Time Deduction
At ClickTime Australia, the Automatic Break Time Deduction feature streamlines timesheet accuracy by applying pre‑set break rules without manual edits. You can configure deductions for all days, selected days, or based on total hours worked — tailoring settings per site to meet state regulations, site conditions, and company policies. Once applied, these rules automatically reflect in new shifts, ensuring consistent compliance and reducing administrative overhead.
Automatic Break Time Deduction
Automatically deduct Break Time from employees' shifts when working beyond a customizable hours limit.
If you'd like to have Lunch breaks automatically deducted from your Employee's timesheet, please follow the following steps
1- Go to Setting > App Setting > Time Attendance Setting > App Required Fields
2- Set Break Time Deduction to ON
3- Set Break Time Deduction Method to "Auto Deduct Break Time as Set for Each Site & Project"
Note
If you'd prefer to have Employees add their break time after they clock-in using the mobile app you need to allow this option on TimeAttendace setting> Required Fields Tab. In that case, you'll leave the Deduct Break Time to No Deduction on the site or project page
