Export Time Attendance Records to MYOB

Export Time Attendance Records to MYOB
Note: We currently export to MYOB Desktop. This document is specifically for MYOB Desktop.

Before you get started you’ll need to make sure:
  1. All timesheet records must be approved before ClickTime can export them
  2. Employee External-ID   matches the Employee Card ID in MYOB.
  3. You must also ensure that the Leave names in ClickTime and MYOB match up.
  4. Employee Names are identical in both systems.
  5. Site & Locations External ID in (ClickTime) and Job (MYOB) Codes are the same.
NOTE: in ClickTime , the site External/payroll ID represent the job that will be exported
                        and matched with MYOB

Configuring MYOB
  1. Make sure that the system is set to accept time sheets as an import.
  2. Some businesses use Standard Pay hours to make processing pay quicker. As we’re sending timesheet hours from ClickTime, if you have Standard Pay hours as well, you’ll be doubling up. You’ll want to remove this for all Full Time, Part Time and Casual Staff
  3. Check and make sure that “Payroll Categories” is set to Base Hourly. You may also choose to have custom Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday rates.
  4. Standard Pay Hours must be set to $0.00 on each relevant employee’s card.
  5. You may set the value of  "Base Hourly" = 0  for your employees. This is needed, so MYOB AccountsRights, will only read and consider the ClickTime hours as the only timesheet hours, otherwise, AccountsRights will double up and will add the  (Base Hourly value of the employees) to the ClickTime imported time sheet hours
  6. Ensure that salary employees are listed as salary and have their standard hours set to the accurate auto-pay amount in MYOB.
