Setting Work Limits For Your Staff

Overview

ClickTime allows you to manage employee work limits and availability to ensure compliance with Student Visa restrictions, set‑day schedules, and other rostering requirements. Using Fatigue Management and Employee Availability, you can prevent staff from being scheduled outside their permitted hours or on days they cannot work.


1. Setting Hour Limits for Student Visa Workers (Fatigue Management)

If an employee has restrictions on the number of hours they can work per day or week (such as Student Visa conditions), you can configure individual fatigue rules to prevent overscheduling.

What this does

  • Alerts the admin or scheduler when a staff member is rostered beyond their allowed hours

  • Applies rules at the individual employee level

  • Helps ensure compliance when multiple people are managing the roster

2. Blocking Out Days Employees Cannot Work (Employee Availability)

For staff who work set days or have limited availability, you can use the Employee Availability feature to define when they can and cannot be scheduled.
