How to transfer employees from one contractor to new contractor

Follow the below steps carefully. These steps will be done in coordination with the main company, the old contractor and the new contractor

1. The head contractor or (ClickTime) Admin, will transfer current sites from the old

    contractor  to the new contractor

2. The head contractor or (ClickTime) Admin, will go to employee screen, filter the data by the

    current contractor that will be deactivated.

     

3. The head contractor or (ClickTime) Admin, will make sure to display the following fields so

    they can be exported:

    emp-no,  emp first & last names,  email,  mobile,  external ID

4. The head contractor (ClickTime) Admin, will export the current employee list for the

    old contractor into Excel sheet.

     

5. The head contractor or (ClickTime) Admin, will send the Excel sheet to the new contractor

    so he can add the employee to the system using using his current log-in credentials.  

     

NOTE:  new contractor will have to add the employees later on (NOT at This Step)

     

6. The head contractor or (ClickTime) Admin or old contractor will need to edit the current

    employees and change their emails by adding “.old” to the end of their current

    email address.

    This is needed because we can't have 2 employees to have the same emails accounts.

 7. The new contractor will now enter the employees into the system. The new contractor

     use the Excel Sheet that was created in previous steps to add the employee to the system

            

This step is the most important step, the new contractor will need to log in to the system as a contractor, so when he adds the        employees , they will be assigned as his employees working for his company

    

8. The head contractor or (ClickTime) Admin or Old Contractor , will need to set

the old employees record that has ".old" on their email  as inactive.

     ** This step can be done at night time after all employees finish their shifts. 

9. The old contractor will need to Note down the future shifts for his employees.

10. The old contractor will need to delete the future shifts for his employees

12. The new contractor will need to create the roster for the new employees and

       publish the roster

11. The head contractor or (ClickTime) Admin will now need to make the old contractor

       as 'inactive'

13. The new contractor will need to  ask the employee to log out and log in again using

      the mobile app, so the system will recognize them with their new assigned company
