Why system automatically clocked out the employees from their shifts

The system automatically clocks out employees from their shifts if they forget to do so. This feature ensures that employees who miss clocking out from their scheduled or ad-hoc shifts are still accounted for.

  1. If an employee has clocked in for a scheduled shift, you can set the system to automatically clock them out after a specified number of hours (XX hours) beyond the shift end time. This allows for extra working hours in case employees typically work overtime or need to stay longer due to business requirements.
  2. For ad-hoc shifts, you can also adjust the maximum number of hours an employee is allowed to work.

To review or adjust this setting:

  1. Navigate to Settings > App Settings > Time Attendance Settings > Rounding & Auto Clock Out tab.
  2. Check your current settings and make any necessary adjustments to better suit your business needs.
