What is the Site and Project External ID
Why it’s important
You will use the External ID when exporting ClickTime timesheet or time‑attendance data to third‑party payroll or accounting systems such as:
Ensuring successful data export
To avoid import errors in your payroll or accounting software, make sure that:
The Site / Job Card ID or External ID in your other system
matches exactly the External ID you enter in ClickTime.
This matching allows ClickTime to generate an export file that your payroll system can read and import correctly.
KeyPay Location ExternalID
in KeyPay you can add a new location by going to Payroll Setting
> Locations and click on Add
