Shift History

Overview

In ClickTime Australia, the Shift History tool lets managers see exactly when a shift was created, published, reassigned, or edited — and by whom. This is especially useful when multiple schedulers are involved or when you need to confirm what information an employee saw earlier in the week. From the roster view, you can open a shift’s history via the History button in the Shift Editor or by right‑clicking the shift. The detailed log shows every action taken, helping you audit changes, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate, transparent schedules.

Use Shift History to see when a shift was created, who it was assigned to, when it was published, when it was changed, when it was moved, and who completed the actions.

This is very helpful when you have multiple users setting the schedule up and need to track changes. It is also handy if you have questions about the information a user may have received earlier in the week.

View history for a shift
