Using Shift Tags in ClickTime Australia — Add Custom Labels to Shifts

Shift Tags

In ClickTime Australia, Shift Tags let you attach custom labels or fields to shifts — making it easy to categorise work, flag risks, or highlight special duties. Tags can include details like work zones, safety alerts, or specific tasks, and are visible to employees in the mobile app when viewing shift details. Once enabled in Roster Settings, tags can be added when creating or editing a shift, and removed at any time. This guide explains how to enable shift tags, add or edit them, and use them to improve communication, safety, and operational clarity across your roster.

Tags are a way to attach a custom field or a label to a shift.  You can use the shift tags in many different ways

Tags can help you to organize your shift into specific categories
By using tags, you can mark the shift and pass it to the employee on the field with any label or extra information. Employees can view these tags and labels on their mobile apps when viewing shift details.

  1. Tags can be used to specify lots of different info such as:
  2. Work zone
  3. Risk involved
  4. Alerts to watch for
  5. Specific duty or task to be done during the shift

….Plus many more, the possibilities are endless
