Overtime calculation (BETA Version)

We have recently implemented a feature that allows organizations to effectively manage and calculate employee overtime. It's important to note that in this current version, you can only assign either a daily or weekly overtime template to your employees. However, we have plans to further enhance the system by developing additional custom overtime templates that will provide the flexibility to assign both daily and weekly templates to your employees. These upcoming enhancements aim to cater to a wider range of overtime calculation needs.

 

NOTE

Before implementing the overtime and pay templates, it is recommended to consult with your payroll software provider. Some payroll software providers, like ADP and KeyPay, have the capability to handle penalty rates and overtime calculations using Clicktime's employee timesheet export. In these cases, there is no need for ClickTime software to manage or handle these calculations separately. However, if your payroll service provider does not offer this functionality, you can take advantage of the built-in feature in ClickTime to handle penalty rates and overtime calculations and export it to your payroll software

Copy Roster as timesheet

We have recently introduced a new feature on the scheduler screen that enables users to conveniently copy the weekly roster and convert it into timesheet records. This functionality proves to be particularly useful for organizations that do not utilize clock-in and clock-out systems, instead relying on the roster as the primary source for their timesheets. By utilizing this feature, users can effortlessly generate accurate timesheet records based on the existing roster, streamlining the process and ensuring reliable time tracking for such organizations

With the current version you will be able to copy one week roster at a time.

Access

Access to this feature must be granted by the System Administrator to office or admin users. They will need the necessary permissions to utilize this functionality. Access can be granted on the user & permission screen

Limitations

There are some limitations when you copy the roster.  See below image
