Locking & Unlocking Shifts
ClickTime allow the user with the proper authority & role to lock the shift(s) from being modified. Once a lock is placed on the shift(s), the shift(s) becomes read-only. Users will not be able to do any changes to shift including (Publishing, UnPublishing, set as tentative, set as confirmed, void, or delete the shift(s))
User with the proper role & privilege needs to unlock the shift in order to make any required changes.
Locking the shifts has many advantages for example, the payroll and financial officers can set control and preserve the data once payroll is completed or client gets invoiced, all shifts should be locked from further editing, unless a requirement arise again for corrections.
