The reason "Location permission switched off globally" will appear when location has been switched off from being used for all apps on the device.
Ensure Location is always switched on within your phone settings.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services
Check Location Services is switched on
Go to Settings > Location
Check Location is switched on
