The Auto Clock Out feature has been enhanced with additional capabilities and is now located under a new tab called "Rounding/Auto Clock Out."
The Auto Clock Out feature is now tailored separately for shift-based companies that schedule and roster their employees and for non-shift-based companies that do not.
For Shift-Based Companies:
- You can now specify how long an Adhoc shift should last, and the system will automatically clock out the employee after that specified duration.
- The default duration for Adhoc shifts is set to 10 hours as a default value. This setting is already configured for all companies currently using the "Set clock-out time to scheduled shift end time" feature.
- Companies using this option will need to adjust this default value to suit their needs. You also have the option to prevent employees from clocking in for Adhoc shifts. You can do this for each individual employee or for all your employees
- You have full control over how you manage Adhoc shifts.
For Non-Shift-Based Companies:
- Auto Clock Out After Specified Hours: Companies that do not schedule and roster their employees can now automatically clock out employees who forget to clock out after a specified number of hours, typically the normal working hours for your employees.
- You can adjust the number of hours according to your company’s preference.
- Additionally, you can specify the number of hours to wait after the normal job duration before the system enforces the auto clock out.
These enhancements give you more flexibility and control over how the Auto Clock Out feature operates within your organization.
