How to View Employee Shift Notes in ClickTime Australia: Time Attendance & Timeline Methods

How to view the notes that is entered by the employees when they started and/or finished their shifts

In ClickTime Australia, supervisors can quickly access the notes employees add when clocking in or out, helping to capture important shift details without extra follow‑up. Whether you want to check a quick note from the Time Attendance screen or review full shift records in the Timeline tab, these built‑in tools make it easy to keep communication clear and attendance records complete.

There is two ways you can read the notes that employee have entered during their shifts as follow:

On the time attendance screen.

1. when employees clock in and out using their ClickTime APP, the system will display mobile icons with an information mark inside the mobile icon. This indicates that the employee has entered some notes when he clocked in or out. Hover your mouse over the mobile icon and the system will automatically pop up a small window that has the photo of the employee (it was captured in addition to the notes entered by the employee)



2. Right mouse click the time record or click on the blue down arrow for the shift you want to view the notes for, then select (mote details) and the system will display a  window displaying where employee clock in and out on Google maps. Click and select the 2nd tab named [Timeline]. There you will find the full details of the clocked record including the notes entered by the employee
