How to setup staff location & GPS setting


Go to Setting → App Setting → Time Attendance Setting → GPS Tracking

Capture GPS when clocking
Requires that the user’s location be recorded whenever user clock in and out.

You can set this option to:
ON – Location must be recorded. The APP will not allow employee to clock in and out unless GPS & location service is enabled on the mobile APP.

OFF – GPS Location is never recorded. User will be able to clock in and out without GPS location being recorded.





Monitor GPS location during shifts
ClickTime™ APP can transmit its location at regular intervals and frequency that you define. This will help you to know where your employees and view their locations and movements during the shift or the job.

You can set this option to:
ON- The system will start tracking the employee location after they clock in at a frequency that you define. For example every 10 or 30 minutes. Etc

OFF- the system will not monitor & track employee location after clocking into the job.


Capture GPS location every




Determine the time frequency at which you want to monitor and track your employee location during their work at the job site.
Options are: every 10, 15, 30, 45 Minutes or every 1 hour






Enable GeoFencing
You can set this option to:
ON- The ClickTime™ APP will use the geofencing technology to alert the employees of their current location upon clocking in & out.

            If you set this to ON, you will need to decided how your employees will
            clock-in & out, the options are :

            A. Allow employee to clock in &out from anywhere but warn him of his
                action, example:

                      

                                  
          B. Prevent employee to clock in & out from outside the geofencing area
              of the site or job.   

              Employee will need to be inside the job site and within the geofencing
              area that was set and specified for the site or the job & project.  


OFF- ClickTime™ APP will allow the employees to clock-in & out from any place with no restrictions or warnings, but the system will still know where the employees clocked in & out from.  Admin will be able to view the employee’s clocked locations on MAP.                                     
                                     
Also, the APP will also keep monitoring the employee location during the shift, if the field: Monitor GPS Location During Shifts is set to ON
