Clock-In Against Scheduled Shifts Using ClickTime Employee App Ver 1.00

This help article is for the outdated ClickTime Employee App ver 1.0.  Please check the updated help for clocking with ClickTime Ver 2.0 


Make sure to follow the below general guidelines

  • Clock in and out when you start and end each your shift.
  • Be sure to clock in and out at the correct times, so that you are paid correctly for the time you worked.
  • You may also need to record break you take. You can also use ClickTime Mobile to view your daily and weekly roster and view attendance history.


How To Clock in

1. Log in to the app
     Enter your email account, password and your company code.







2. Tap on your scheduled shift.
     If you are scheduled for a shift today, the APP will display the shift on the dashboard.
    Tap and select the shift card that you will be clocking against.








3. Tap on Clock In.

The APP will display the shift details including (start / end date  &  time  and the site or location address)

Hint. You can click or tap on the site address and the APP will display the address on the MAP and will allow you start navigating to the address using you mobile default navigator.


After viewing the shift details, continue by taping and selecting the
Clock-in button





4- Photo Capture
If photo capture is required by your company, you might need to take a photo of yourself every time you Clock-In and Clock-Out.
A camera screen will appear. Ensure your face is visible on the screen, and tap on the Take a photo button to take the photo.






5- Retake Photo.
You can retake the image, if desired, by tapping Retake. Tap Use Photo once you are satisfied with the picture.





6- Submit Your Time
Final step. ClickTime APP display your current GPS location and the site location on Google Map.
Tab on Clock-in to submit your time.




Once completed the APP will upload all information and will display a dialog to confirm the time you clocked-in






7- Clocking out

Typically, you should only need to clock out at the end of your shift.
You need to always clock-out from your current shift. ClickTime Mobile APP, will not allow you to clock-in into your next shift until you clock-out from your previous shift.
There are 2 ways to clock out:



Option 1
To clock-out, navigate to the dashboard and
on the shift 

Option 2
To Clock out tap on the button menu option Clock in/Out







Once you tap or click on the Working shift card, or on the Clock in/out button, ClickTime APP will display the clocked-in details page, and you will need to continue and follow the same steps that you followed when you clocked in.


FAQs
Can I edit my own clock-in and clock-out?
  No. In case you have done any mistake, ask you supervisor and let him know to fix your time records.

How early or late can I clock-in?
  Try to clock-in and out as close to your scheduled start and end times as possible.
  However, depending on your company time attendance settings, your clocking times may be rounded – either to allow you a grace period,
  or to make payroll  easier to calculate.
  If your attendance record is inaccurate, talk to your supervisor. They may be able to correct your clocking history for you.

Do I have to submit my hours somehow?
No. Your hours are automatically sent to your company and supervisor.
